# Find Mobile

> Takes one LinkedIn profile and returns the person's mobile. A mobile costs 3 credits. A profile with no mobile, or a lookup that could not run, is free.

## Body

**linkedin\_url** `string` *required*

The person's LinkedIn profile URL, such as `https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe`.

**first\_name** `string`

Up to 128 characters. Read from the profile when you leave it out.

**last\_name** `string`

Up to 128 characters. Read from the profile when you leave it out.

**check** `boolean` (default: false)

`true` or `false`.

* `false` finds the mobile only. 3 credits when one is found.
* `true` also checks the number and returns its priority. 5 credits when a mobile is found. See [Find and check in one call](#find-and-check-in-one-call).

**action\_vocabulary** `string` (default: legacy)

`legacy` or `priority`. See [Action wording](https://docs.willthispersonanswer.com/api-reference/priorities.md#action-wording).

**Idempotency-Key** `string`

Send the same value when retrying the same request and you are charged once. See [Retry safely](https://docs.willthispersonanswer.com/authentication.md#retry-safely).

## Response

**status** `string` *required*

`success` when a mobile was returned, `not_found` when there is none.

**contact** `object` *required*

**properties**

**linkedin\_profile\_url** `string`

The profile, in its canonical form.

**first\_name** `string | null`

Read from the profile, or the name you sent. A missing name never stops the find.

**last\_name** `string | null`

Read from the profile, or the name you sent.

**phone\_number** `string | null`

The mobile, with its country code. The country comes from the number itself.

**line\_type** `string | null`

What the line is, as reported when the mobile was found.

**provider** `string | null`

Who found the number.

**check** `object`

Only when you sent `check: true`. The `priority` and `signals` for the number, in the same shape as [Check Number](https://docs.willthispersonanswer.com/api-reference/check-number.md), or why they could not be produced.

**credit\_cost** `integer` *required*

What this call charged, in credits.

## Find and check in one call

Send `"check": true` to check the mobile too. The check comes back as its own `check` group beside `contact`, and the call costs 5 credits in all. The full amount must be in your balance before the call starts.

* A number we found is not confirmed against itself, so its identity stays `unconfirmed` unless something independent confirms it.
* Only the first number found is checked.
* If the check cannot run, the find still succeeds, you are charged 3, and `check` reads `unable_to_check` with a reason.
